Methodology
Confidence flags
Every load-bearing claim carries one of:
- ✓ verified primary — directly cited to an SEC filing, peer-reviewed paper, Marvell press release, or other authoritative primary source. Verification date noted.
- ◐ partial / secondary — cited to an aggregator, a paywalled source extracted via summary, or a community post that cross-references but doesn't reproduce the primary. Treat as >75% likely correct but not independently re-verifiable.
- ⚠ unverified / speculative — community claim, single-source rumor, or speculation. Always partitioned into clearly-labeled sections. Treat as a hypothesis, not a fact.
Primary-source priority
When sources conflict, primacy:
- SEC EDGAR filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF 14A, Form 4, S-3, 424B5, CORRESP/UPLOAD)
- Marvell press releases and corporate-investor PDFs / decks
- Partner / supplier / customer press releases
- Peer-reviewed academic papers (where applicable to the technology stack)
- Conference recordings and slide decks
- Aggregator summaries of primary sources
- Community posts (Reddit, InvestorsHub, Stocktwits, X cashtag)
Daily rebuild
Each day after market close, the site rebuilds. Pipeline:
- SEC EDGAR submissions feed → check for new filings since last build.
- Yahoo Finance → pull yesterday's daily OHLC.
- Nasdaq short-interest API → pull current bi-weekly series.
- Auto-generate "what changed today" diff vs. yesterday's snapshot.
- Astro static build → Cloudflare Pages deploy.
What this site is NOT
- NOT a real-time price ticker. Intra-day price is a build-time snapshot.
- NOT a paywall. All content is free and public.
- NOT an investment recommendation. See disclosures.
- NOT a substitute for reading the primary sources.
